Before the start of the much-awaited Asia Cup 2018, all the captains of the six teams had indulged in a customary press meet on the eve of trophy unveiling. Dubbed the “Don’t Say Gay” bill by activists, the recently passed legislation in Florida prohibits “classroom discussion about sexual orientation or gender identity” in certain grade levels in schools. The bill, also known as the Parental Rights in Education Bill, will ban the discussion of sexual orientation or gender identity in schools for children under the age of 10. The Florida governor slammed the entertainment and media conglomerate and criticized its links to China....

DeSantis made the remarks during an interview in Cape Coral with the conservative news website Florida’s Voice, which the outlet shared in a video clip posted to YouTube on Tuesday. A new poll released Wednesday by Marquette University Law School shows 49 percent of voters support Johnson’s reelection to a third term.
